Do you like to party? If you are looking for something fun to do while also benefiting a good cause—your Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra—Parties of Note are for you. From casual to elegant, intimate to grand—Parties of Note offer you the chance to gather in some of Greater Cincinnati's greatest homes and establishments to enjoy a variety of themed parties throughout the year.
Parties sell out quickly, so make your reservations early. View the calendar below, or download the 2008-2009 Parties of Note booklet (PDF file) and make your reservation by calling 513.793.6469. Or print, complete and mail the reservation form you’ll find in the booklet.
More than just a great party… For each party order, you will receive one voucher valid for one complimentary ticket when a second full price ticket of equal or greater value is purchased to any CSO 2008 concert at Riverbend or 2008-2009 concert Music Hall.
Accessibility. All parties are handicapped (wheelchair) accessible unless otherwise noted. Because many of the parties are given in private residences, not all hosts are able to accommodate guests with special needs.

Start the holiday season with a compact concert version of Giancarlo Menotti’s Christmas classic Amahl and the Night Visitors. Adapted by Seventh Presbyterian music director Allan Martin, it features the voices of fellow CCM grads. Historical note: The premiere performance of Amahl on NBC TV in December 1951, was conducted by Thomas Schippers, who served as CSO music director from 1970-1977. The Cincinnati Fire Museum, located in a 1907 National Register firehouse, is both exciting and informative. Through interactive computers, you can learn how the experts handle various dangerous situations and see over 200 years of firefighting history on display, including the oldest surviving fire engine in Cincinnati. Although you may experience sliding down a fire pole first hand, no fire pole races are planned.
