| PATRON CONSIDERATIONS
Dress code is a personal preference. Many patrons
feel comfortable in "business casual" attire.
Arrival time
If purchasing tickets or paying
for reserved tickets, please arrive at least 30 minutes
before the start of the performance. If picking up prepaid
tickets at Will Call, please arrive 20 minutes before
the start of the performance (see late seating policy
below).
Late seating policy
So as to not disturb other patrons, latecomers will
be asked to remain in the lobby. Video monitors are
available in the lobby to view the concert. At an appropriate
musical break, ushers will assist latecomers to their
seats.
Applause
It is customary to wait until the end
of a complete work to applaud, and not applaud between
movements. When in doubt, wait until significant applause
has begun.
Beep, beep, beep...
Please turn off all cell phones, pagers, watch alarms and other electronic devices before the concert.
Coughing?
The acoustical properties of Music Hall carry
audience noise as well as the music. Please unwrap candies or lozenges before the music starts.
Our youngest listeners
In consideration of all our patrons, we discourage bringing children under age six to CSO and Pops concerts; ushers will assist patrons with young children to seats at the back of the auditorium. The CSO performs many educational concerts each season specifically designed for children of all
ages. Call 513.621.1919 for complete information.
Recording devices
The use of photographic (including camera phones) or recording devices is prohibited in the auditorium during CSO performances.
Smoking is prohibited inside Music Hall. Ohio's recent smoking ban also prohibits smoking in areas immediately adjacent to the Music Hall exterior doors.
