CSO Weekend: November 16 &
18, 2006
Gianandrea Noseda conducting; Leon McCawley, pianist.
Led by the acclaimed Noseda, these concerts feature four appealing works, including the grand finale — Respighi's phenomenal Pines of Rome — always an audience favorite. Also, the impressive young British pianist McCawley will join the CSO to perform Mozart's powerfully expressive Piano Concerto No. 20. And radiant works by Schnittke and Rachmaninoff complete the program.
