Sound Discoveries: Workshops for Educators
The Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra is pleased to present three exciting Workshops for Educators as part of Sound Discoveries: Music for Life.*   These workshops provide a forum for educators, parents, and interested others to gain ideas, strategies and skills for integrating music with curriculum to enhance learning.

These two-hour workshops provide interactive learning experiences followed by dinner and up to four tickets for the evening’s concert by the world renowned Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra.

Tuesday, September 16 - CSO: Your Resource for Learning
This kick-off event will introduce you to our new Assistant Conductor, Vincent Lee, our developing technological resources, and our popular CSO Musician Visits. You’ll be treated to a “lite” dinner and our special CSO Donors’ Concert with Paavo Jarvi to finish the evening.

Thursday, November 20 - Sounds & Stories
Literature has long been an inspiration for composers and musicians. This workshop will look at stories including Peter & the Wolf and Romeo & Juliet to develop your repertoire of skills to use music and stories to enhance curriculum and engage students. Put your best creative energy to work in this interactive Workshop!

Thursday, March 5 -Cincinnati History Takes the Stage: Past, Present
& Future

Part of any field trip to the Symphony is the excitement of visiting one of Cincinnati’s architectural gems: Music Hall. This workshop will include a Music Hall tour, exploration of the Timeline and a practical guide for arts education advocacy.
